Paddle Pursuit

From AUD $32.00
  • Duration: 4 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Kent St & Queens Park Rd, Wilson, Western Asutralia
The Canning River is a beautiful environment, and at Kent Street park the river is unique because of the weir which separates the fresh and salt waters. Paddle upstream through the freshwater in Canadian canoes while keeping track of the plants and animals you see because after lunch, the paddle will continue downstream through salt water. Will there be any differences in these environments? Throughout the paddle, each canoe will be tasked to collect clues which will help solve a puzzle on what animals call the Canning River home.

Please note, although canoe experience is not necessary, this is a mildly physically challenging activity and children will be required to paddle with a partner for the duration of the activity. There will be qualified instructors on the water to assist the participants, but the children need to come prepared to paddle. All canoes, paddles and safety equipment including PFD’s are provided.

This is a 'drop and leave' activity suitable for children 10-14 years of age. Tickets must be purchased for participating children only. The ages for each activity are in place for your children to get the most out of their activity. In most cases, these age limits are restricted due to recommendations by outside providers or for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding in booking only children who are age appropriate into activities.
