Discover Our Native Wildlife
Embark on a forest adventure to uncover the hidden lives of our native animals! Hunt for clues that reveal where they live and explore the unique features that help them survive in the wild.
Take a guided walk through diverse habitats, search for invertebrates, and unlock the secrets of these tiny forest dwellers. Use real evidence to learn about the plants and animals that make up this incredible ecosystem.
Get hands-on with interactive activities like the Habitat Game and discover what you can do to keep our bushland healthy for local wildlife. To top it all off, enjoy an unforgettable up-close animal encounter with some of Australia’s amazing species!
COST: $890 (inc GST), max 30 students (inc. animal encounter)
Duration: 4 hours. Excursion runs from 10am to 2pm including morning tea and lunch. Groups arrive at 10 am then have 15-20 minutes for morning tea, activities commence after morning tea. Finish times can be adjusted to your needs.
Venue: Perth Hills Discovery Centre, Mundaring
Forest Discovery Centre, Dwellingup (animal encounter subject to provider availability)
