Step into the wild and discover the amazing creatures that call our land home. Many of these unique species are fighting for survival—and some are teetering on the edge of extinction.

On this unforgettable excursion, students will dive into a hands-on habitat challenge, exploring how ecosystems support life and what we can do to protect them from introduced predators. Through real-world science, we’ll investigate how researchers are working to bring these animals back from the brink.

And the best part? Students will come face-to-face with some of our fantastic native fauna in an exciting animal encounter*!

COST: $890 (inc GST), max 30 students (inc animal encounter)

Duration: 4 hours. Excursion runs from 10am to 2pm including breaks for morning tea and lunch.  Groups arrive at 10 am then have 15-20 minutes for morning tea, activities commence after morning tea. Finish times can be adjusted to your needs.

Venue: Perth Hills Discovery Centre, Mundaring

Forest Discovery Centre, Dwellingup (animal encounter subject to provider availability)

1. Maximum students per group is 30.  Multiple groups can be accommodated.
