Nature Navigators

From AUD $12.00
  • Duration: 180 Minutes (approx.)
  • Location: Clayton Silcock Gardens, Noranda, WA

Do you think you navigate around Lightning Swamp using a map and coordinates?

In teams, you will navigate your way through nature. At each stop you will be learning about local animals and what they need in their habitat to survive. Once you have chosen your animal to match the habitat, you will use I-pads to take photos as proof on how this animal would survive in this vegetation area.

Once you have navigated your way back to base, we will delve into some of the threats these species face, with a focus on fire. We will then get wet while trying to save the black cockatoos from an approaching fire!

This is a 'drop and leave' activity suitable for children 8-12 years of age. Tickets must be purchased for participating children only. The ages for each activity are in place for your children to get the most out of their activity and due to safety and management on a drop-off activity we cannot allow older or younger children to participate. We appreciate your understanding in booking only children who are age appropriate into activities.

Please note that our activities are carried out with recommendations and advice from the WA government to ensure the health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers.

We want to ensure our participants are happy, healthy and safe during and after their experience so we appreciate your understanding for the below conditions:
