Small Worlds and Snail Trails @ WDF

Join us on a family adventure with Corey Whisson and LIsa Kirkendale (WA Museum snail and molluscs expert) as we explore the Wellington Discovery Forest in search of small worlds and snail trails. Learn how to become a citizen scientist and get involved in Snail Snap as we discover the microhabitats that support a rich diversity of small organisms. Bring your own picnic and enjoy the Discovery Forest after the event. 

Please note this experience is for the whole family but children must be ages 4+ to participate. Tickets must be purchased for all attending participants.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult and be under their responsibility during the event.
  • A full refund will be provided for any cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start time of the activity. 
  • Minimum number of participants required. Event organisers have the right to cancel the event if minimum numbers are not reached. The decision to cancel the event is made 1 - 2 days before the commencement of the event and notice will be given to participants via email or phone contact. A full refund will be provided.
