All the Small Things @ WDF

From AUD $12.00
  • Duration: 90 Minutes (approx.)
  • Location: Wellington Mill, Western Australia

Fascinated by the small things in our forest? Want to get a closer look? Come join macro-photographer Paul Irvine as he shares with us his images and experiences of photographing the small life-forms of the forest. Paul started out photographing orchids before moving into spiders and insects. Through his photography he has even discovered a new species of Peacock Spider in his local nature reserve. An impressive achievement considering the size of these spiders.

Paul will share with us his journey and involvement in citizen science and his many images of local spiders and insects before we head out for a bushwalk through the Wellington Discovery Forest, looking for some small things to photograph or get a closer look at with our magnifying lenses.
