Bug Safari: Water vs Land Adventure
- Duration: 120 Minutes (approx.)
- Location: Canning River Eco Education Centre, Crn Kent Street &, Queens Park Rd, Wilson , Western Australia
Get ready for a bug safari this school holidays! Join us as we explore the Swan Canning River park with the Nearer to Nature team and Dr Bugalugs (Dr Darryl Hardie) in search of amazing invertebrates. Have you ever wondered why there are more bugs in spring? We'll find out as we venture through water and land on a quest to discover as many different types as possible and learn why they are so vital to our ecosystems. Learn more about one insect that is causing havoc around Perth, then dive into a hands-on experience with some fascinating creepy crawlies in an exciting animal encounter with other intriguing invertebrates.
This activity includes an animal encounter.
