Conservation Projects - Bush Ranger and River Ranger Cadets

Cadets Conservation Project Support provides essential resources to help deliver hands-on, impactful conservation initiatives across the greater Perth metropolitan area.
Aligned with DBCA's Cadet program outcomes for Bush Rangers and River Rangers, this support package enables young people to actively contribute to environmental regeneration and sustainability.
Activities and resources that may be included:
- River / ocean / bushland clean-ups – Protect waterways and bushlands to reduce plastic pollution and other rubbish from impacting wildlife.
- Wildlife monitoring / habitat creation – opportunity to participate in wildlife monitoring- motion sensor cameras, build, maintain or lease nest boxes, for endangered Black Cockatoos, micro bats, phascogale and other wildlife, track local fauna.
- Tree planting – Restore native habitats and green urban spaces, purchasing or participating in planting for wildlife habitat.
