Join Nearer to Nature and native bee expert Dr Kit Prendergast for Little Bee Explorers, a fun and hands-on adventure designed especially for curious young learners! They’ll explore the wonderful world of native bees, learning what they look like, how they live, and what they do in winter, before buzzing into action. Then get busy with bee movements and imaginative play. Enjoy a bee-themed story, explore the bush on a gentle walk to find bee-friendly plants, and finish by creating seed bombs to help support bees at home. Please note this IS NOT a drop and leave activity. 

This activity is suitable for children 3-6 years of age. Tickets must be purchased for participating children only. The ages for each activity are in place for your children to get the most out of their activity. In most cases, these age limits are in place due to activity content, recommendations by outside providers or for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding in booking only children who are age appropriate into activities.  

If weather conditions are unsuitable, the activity will be held indoors in the Jarrah Room at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre.
