Night walk (PP-12) - Perth Metro

  • Duration: 1 Hours (approx.)

Suitable for PP-12

Discover the Nocturnal Life of the Jarrah Forest

As night falls over the Jarrah forest, join us for a guided walk to uncover the hidden world of nocturnal wildlife. This immersive experience invites participants to explore the forest’s unique ecosystem after dark, using their senses to tune into the sights, sounds, and movements of the bush at night.

Along the way, you’ll learn how native animals such as possums, owls, frogs, and insects have adapted to thrive in the dark. Through observation and guided discussion, participants will develop a deeper understanding of nocturnal behaviours and the importance of biodiversity in forest ecosystems. Sensory activities will encourage students to sharpen their environmental awareness and reflect on the role of conservation in protecting these habitats.
