Deadly or Dangerous (K-12 & ESC)-Perth Metro

Western Australia is home to some of the most fascinating—and sometimes dangerous—creatures on Earth! From venomous snakes and spiders to marine stingers and more, these animals play a vital role in our ecosystems. In this program, students will uncover what makes these species deadly, why they evolved these traits, and how humans can safely coexist with them. Through interactive activities, they’ll learn essential first aid techniques for bites and stings, building confidence and practical skills. To top it off, there’s an exciting opportunity to meet some of these incredible creatures up close, fostering respect and understanding for our unique wildlife.

Cross-curricular and General Capabilities: Critical and Creative Thinking (ACv9), Personal and Social Capability (ACv9), Sustainability (ACv9)


Duration: This is a two-hour activity with the option of adding a one-hour animal encounter for an additional $450. Can be booked between 10am and 2pm.


COST: $275 (inc. GST), max 30 students  

 Optional - one hour reptile encounter for an additional $450. 


Venue: Perth Hills Discovery Centre, Mundaring
