Investigate connections within the Canning River ecosystem

Investigate how a wetland ecosystem functions by measuring and assessing biotic and abiotic components. Conduct tests on water quality, sample the macroinvertebrate community and explore how these components affect each other. The role of humans in modifying the ecosystem is considered and students will discuss how the river can be managed sustainably into the future.
