An approach to land cover change and biodiversity

During this program your students will learn how we are changing the way we care for the forest and how we can help the forest survive climate change. Act as a conservationist and engage in field work that will help you learn how to care for the forest for the benefit of all who visit them.

ATAR Year 11 Biology Unit 1 Ecosystems and Biodiversity (SCSA, ACv9), ATAR Year 12 Geography Unit 3 Global Environmental Change (SCSA, ACv9), WACE Year 11&12 Science in Practice to cover the practical aspect in one unit 1/2/3/4 on Biology (SCSA) 

Cross-curricular and General Capabilities: Critical and Creative Thinking (ACv9), Numeracy (ACv9), Personal and Social Capability (ACv9), Sustainability (ACv9) ATAR Year 11 Biology Unit 1 Ecosystems and Biodiversity  

ATAR Year 12 Geography Unit 3 Global Environmental Change 

WACE Year 11&12 Science in Practice to cover the practical aspect in one unit 1/2/3/4 on Biology 

Duration: 4 hours 

Cost:  $505 (inc GST), max 30 students
