Birds, Blooms and BBQ with 'Bird Man' Eric McCrum. FREE Family event.

Fra AUD A$ 0,00
  • Varighet: 150 Minutter (ca.)
  • Lokasjon: 380 Allen Rd Mundaring, WA

Join us at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre this Spring and meet Eric McCrum one of the founding members of the Darling Range Naturalist Club in this FREE event supported by the WA Parks Foundation 'Spring Into Parks' initiative. Eric has a wealth of knowledge about plants, and animals in and around our beautiful jarrah forest. Some may know Eric as the 'Bird man' (from ABC radio) and that’s why we want you to meet him!

Come and learn about the wildlife and stunning birds he captures in his photographs. You might even spot a few of these beautiful birds on the day. We will be making a bird nest provider to take home, then we will head out on a wildflower walk through the jarrah forest to see what we can find with some help from the Wildflower Society. When we return, we will fire up the barbie for a sausage sizzle giving us a chance to relax and share stories about our nature adventures.

This event is FREE but bookings are essential.
