TURTLEY AWESOME WETLANDS - CREEC (4-7yrs)
- Kesto: 90 Minuutit (noin)
- Paikka: Wilson, Western Australia
The native South‑western snake‑necked turtle is a fascinating reptile that lives in our rivers and wetlands. Sadly, this species faces a number of threats, but the good news is that we can all play a role in protecting them.
Join us at the Canning River Eco Education Centre, for a fun and interactive session as we discover the turtley awesome world of these unique creatures. We’ll investigate their special features, learn about their habitat, and explore the surrounding environment as we search for signs of them. We’ll finish the morning by creating our very own crafty turtle to take home.
Please note that while we will be exploring turtle habitat, sightings cannot be guaranteed. Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
