Underwater Wonders: Meet the scientists
- Dauer: 120 Minuten (ca.)
- Ort: Iluka Beach Foreshore Park, Joondalup, WA
Be a marine scientist for a day! Join scientists from the DBCA Marine Science Program to identify and measure the diversity of invertebrates living in the intertidal reef at Marmion Marine Park. Using a field guide that you will get to keep, you will collect data through quadrat sampling and learn about the conservation management of these vulnerable coastal habitats. We will finish with a beach clean-up and discussion about how pollution and plastics impact all marine animals from snails to turtles and whales.
