Get ready for a day of outdoor adventure at Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park! Pack your lunch, roll up your sleeves, and join us as we explore the basics of camping in nature. Learn some cool bush skills, set up a camp shelter for the day, take on Naturescape challenges, play fun games, get involved in some nature craft and explore the amazing wildlife around you. Plus, you'll have a chance to meet some local wildlife up close in a friendly animal encounter! This DROP OFF activity is perfect for ages 8-15yrs and runs from 9am-3pm. 

This is a 'DROP AND LEAVE' activity suitable for children 8-14yrs years of age. Tickets must be purchased for participating children only. The ages for each activity are in place for your children to get the most out of their activity and due to safety and management on a drop-off activity we cannot allow older or younger children to participate. We appreciate your understanding in booking only children who are age appropriate into activities. Your child will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle for this activity. There is nowhere on site to purchase food.  

This activity includes an animal encounter. 

Please note that our activities are carried out with recommendations and advice from the WA government to ensure the health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers.    

Please do not attend if any of your family members are unwell and displaying possible COVID -19 symptoms. If any of the attending members arrive with a cough, runny nose or fever, Nearer to Nature has the right to ask that you not participate in the activity.
