Culture in the Forest Discovery Day -Perth Metro

This exciting day includes: Hand on cultural activities set in nature! This activity depends on provider availability and may include music, art, plants and their uses, animals and their significance to Aboriginal people.  

 Animal encounter - Get up close to some of our unique native mammals and learn about their special adaptations to the Australian environment. Specific educational animals depend on available providers eg. reptiles, mammals, birds etc.  

Forest trail  - Discover the amazing forest in the Beelu National Park and the cultural significance of the plants and animals that call it home with our Nearer to Nature leaders.

Location: Perth Hills Discovery Centre, Mundaring (PHDC) 

Duration: 4 hours - 10am to 2 pm inclusive of morning tea and lunch breaksGroups arrive at 10 am then have 15-20 minutes for morning tea, activities commence after morning tea. Finish times can be adjusted to your needs

Cost: $5,819 (inc. GST), max 120 students
