Students will learn out about artificial habitats and their place in fauna protection. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of placing artificial habitats. Explore your school to find the best place for an artificial habitat, then make one for your school’s precious wildlife. Ideal for schools in areas near native bushland. Refuges must be placed on school land. This activity will involve the use of basic hand tools.  


Duration: 1 hour. Additional time may be required to complete cabin building post incursion.


COST: One class (up to 30 students) is $400 per hour or part thereof, second class, $350 per class incursion. Includes GST

*Resources can be sourced by the school (equipment list provided) or N2N can bring resources at an additional cost.
