Wildlife Monitoring

From AUD $8.00
  • Duration: 2 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: 240 Walter Road, Morley, WA
Native animals can be quite elusive. Coming out at night time when we are sleeping, or hiding away quietly in the bushes as we walk past. This makes it difficult for us to understand what animals are living in the area.

Motion sensor cameras can be left in habitats for a long period of time, collecting data on the species who visit and what they may be doing. Join in on identifying species found on camera, you may be surprised with what we find. We will explore different techniques used to monitor wildlife before enjoying a close up encounter with native animals.

This is a 'drop and leave' activity suitable for children 7-12 years of age. We appreciate your understanding in booking only children who are age appropriate into activities.
