The Perth Hills Discovery Centre has an all abilities campground and education centre to ensure all people can enjoy nature in the stunning Beelu National Park. Facilities including lowered sinks, ramps and pathways through the forest, linking centre facilities and a large ablution area for wheelchair access.
There are 12 shaded unpowered tent sites averaging 3m x 3 m, each capable of holding a typical four-person tent. There are hot showers, flushing toilets and a powered undercover, camp kitchen with two electric BBQ's, kettle, toaster, microwave and a full sized fridge. There is an electric socket where you can charge your devices or plug in an electric frying pan.
Please note: a 48-student limit per night applies.
Location: PHDC
Duration: 1-4 nights (during school terms)
COST: $480 per night for your group (3 students and 1 adult per tent site x 12 sites = 48 people max)
OR
$5 per student per night with one hour volunteer work per student per night.
Please note: groups must book a Nearer to Nature activity to qualify for the volunteer work option.
