Features of Creatures @ RAC Nature Park Margaret River - Home School Activity

Come join the Nearer to Nature South West team at the RAC Margaret River Nature Park for a 3-hour session exploring the surrounding forest of Wooditjup National Park. Through hands-on activities we will learn about the invertebrate fauna of the forest and explore the different habitats they call home. We will learn about their many relationships with other animals and plants and learn why they are so important to a healthy environment.

This activity is suitable for students from Year 1 to Year 4. Younger siblings are welcome to come along but will need to be under parental supervision. Please note a separate activity - Aquatic Ecosystems will be running at the same time for older siblings, Years 5 to 10.

Upon booking, a pre and post excursion booklet will be emailed to you.

The learning outcomes from this activity meet the curriculum requirements of Science (yrs 3 - 5), English (yrs 3-5). A detailed document is available outlining links upon request. The content will be modified appropriate for the age of the student and younger students will still get a lot from the activity.

To keep the group size small and manageable the number of participants for this activity is capped. We expect there to be a wait-list. If you have booked and are unable to attend the activity, please do let us know so others can be added. A full refund will be provided if cancelled prior to 48 hours of the activity.
