Quenda Cabins

Students will learn out about quendas, a native marsupial, and what they need to survive exploring the essential needs of wildlife eg. shelter, food and friends.  

Look at the importance of artificial refuges for native animals. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of placing artificial habitats. Explore your school for the best place for an artificial habitat. Lower primary will draw a habitat and middle primary design one and upper primary can build one*. This activity will involve the use of basic hand tools.


Excursion duration is 1 hr.  


COST: One class (up to 30 students) is $400 per hour or part thereof, second class, $350 per class incursion*. includes GST  

*Resources can be sourced by the school (equipment list provided) or N2N can bring resources at an additional cost.

  1. Maximum students per group is 30. Multiple groups can be accommodated.
