Fauna biology (11-12) -Perth Metro

  • Kesto: 4 Tunnit (noin)

Suitable for Years 11 and 12

Western Shield is one of Australia’s largest wildlife conservation programs, working to restore native fauna populations through introduced predator control and native species monitoring. Students will explore real-world techniques for sampling and analysing population data, gaining insight into conservation science. The program includes an animal encounter, where students meet species protected by Western Shield and learn about the threats they face in the wild. Additional data from Nearer to Nature monitoring sessions supports further classroom exploration.
